Streetcar & Stage

These photos, taken a week apart, show how related the two arts of dance and poetry really are. I could say more about this, but the images speak clearly. One is from a streetcar poetry reading for Art All Night H Street, DC and the other is from a performance for "The Power and the Voice of Women in Dance through the Millennia."

as the streetcar carried us

up and down H street

for Art All Night DC.

Poems On the Go

Hop on the Streetcar Saturday for Art All Night H Street, DC. "Here We Are" is an in-person (!) poetry performance plus soundscape by Jeneen Piccuirro from 8:00 to 9:00 pm. This is a moving streetcar experience––come and go as you please, partake and enjoy our offering of poems and sound, shifting to a different kind of listening.

I'm delighted to team up with the poet Seema Reza to read our poems on a moving streetcar,
8:00 to 9:00 pm this Saturday, September 14, for Art All Night on H Street, Washington, DC.
I'll be bringing a tambourine and some dance moves for this festive evening!
